Gösting wind farm receives
final approval
Our Gösting wind farm in the municipality of Zistersdorf, Lower Austria, has received final legal approval as of 6 August. The wind farm, comprising a total of ten turbines in the seven-megawatt class, is a joint project with EVN and ImWind. Windkraft Simonsfeld’s share of the project amounts to three to four turbines.
Construction is scheduled to begin in autumn next year, with commissioning planned for the end of 2028. In future, the wind farm will generate around 136,000 MWh of electricity per year. This amount of electricity corresponds to the annual consumption of around 34,000 households.
