for our headquarters

Our headquarters in Ernstbrunn is also attracting international attention: at the International Architecture Awards 2026, the extension of our company headquarters received an honourable mention in the “Office Buildings” category. The International Architecture Awards are the world’s oldest and most prestigious global architecture awards programme, recognising innovative and pioneering designs from around the world.

The International Architecture Awards have been presented since 2004 by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The global programme honours outstanding new buildings as well as innovative architecture and urban development projects. In 2026, the awards are being presented for the 21st time.

Designed by juri troy architects, the extension of our headquarters combines sustainable construction with an open and communicative working environment. The two-storey timber structure, a solid rammed-earth core, photovoltaics and a landscaped inner courtyard create spaces for interaction, collaboration and events. The building has also been certified to the klimaaktiv Gold standard.

We are particularly pleased with this international recognition: it shows that the responsible use of resources, high architectural quality and a modern working environment can be successfully combined. In this way, our headquarters also makes visible through its architecture what Windkraft Simonsfeld stands for: 360-degree sustainability.
