For Windkraft Simonsfeld, the year 2024 was not just about renewable energy, but also about supporting local initiatives and events. The sponsorship activities made an important contribution to the communities and associations in the region.

The year ended with the New Year's Eve run in Ernstbrunn, which Windkraft Simonsfeld once again supported as the main sponsor. Over 200 runners took part in the second race and welcomed in the New Year with plenty of exercise and good energy. The company also supported other events in its home community of Ernstbrunn - the music festival in Ernstbrunn in September was one of the sponsorship highlights in 2024.

A partnership that goes far beyond wind power

Windkraft Simonsfeld is concerned with holistic cooperation and sustainable partnerships in all projects. Sponsoring cooperation in project communities is an important factor here. The activities to be supported are planned in cooperation with the municipalities. Last year, for example, Windkraft Simonsfeld was a proud partner of the winegrowers' festival in Poysdorf, the cinema culture association in Mistelbach and the castle festival in Wilfersdorf, to name but a few.

“Sponsoring local associations and initiatives is very important to us in order to put our cooperation with the communities on a broad footing,” emphasizes Birgitt Kleinschek, Head of Communications at Windkraft Simonsfeld. “As Windkraft Simonsfeld, it is particularly important to us to make a contribution to society that goes beyond simply generating green electricity. With our sponsoring activities, we want to provide direct support in the region, promote cultural and sporting highlights and enrich social life.”
