Lots of good energy for the Mistelbach women's refuge

Doing good together - that was the aim of our Advent calendar campaign in December. With every like, we were not only able to set an example, but also make a direct contribution: for every like, we donated 2 euros to the Mistelbach women's refuge.

 Thanks to the great support of our community, we are delighted to be able to hand over a donation of 8,000 euros! Last week, we had the opportunity to visit the women's refuge team in person and officially hand over the amount.

The women's refuge in Mistelbach, which has been run by Kolping Austria since 1991, does indispensable work. It offers protection, counselling and accommodation for women in difficult situations. Women and their children affected by domestic violence not only find safety here, but also individual counselling and support. In addition to psychosocial support, a central concern is to show those affected ways to lead a self-determined, violence-free life.

 However, this important work is dependent on donations of money and goods. Without this support, it would not be possible to help women and children in this way. Every donation helps to provide protection and new hope. Special thanks go to the team at the women's refuge for their tireless efforts - and of course to everyone who supported our campaign and made it possible!
