Lots of positive energy for the wine festival in Poysdorf

This year, we were once again proud to be the main sponsor of the traditional wine festival in Poysdorf – and to contribute lots of positive energy. Over four days, the entire region celebrated the wine and winegrowing culture that makes Poysdorf so special. Thousands of visitors came together to enjoy good food, good company and regional traditions.

It is a particular pleasure for us not only to be a sponsor, but also to be part of this lively community. For over 20 years, the municipality of Poysdorf has been committed to renewable energy from wind power. This long-standing and successful partnership has resulted in a close connection, which we are able to celebrate anew every year at the wine festival.

One highlight we particularly look forward to every year is lunch with the president of the wine festival. This year, we had the pleasure of meeting Fritz Strobl, a former ski racer and Olympic champion. He embodies values such as commitment, team spirit and perseverance – values that are also crucial to the energy transition. Because only with perseverance, passion and cohesion can we achieve great things: whether on the ski slopes or in shaping a sustainable energy future. This attitude also connects us with the Poysdorf region, where wind and wine interact perfectly: cycle paths through our wind farms lead directly to the vineyards – a combination that uniquely combines tourism, nature and sustainability.
