Lower Austria Energy Agency and Czech Mayors Visit Windkraft Simonsfeld

Representatives from the Lower Austria Energy and Environment Agency and a delegation of 33 Czech mayors recently visited the Windkraft Simonsfeld headquarters.

The day was entirely dedicated to wind energy and the question of how successful projects are achieved. We at Windkraft Simonsfeld AG had the opportunity to share our experiences on this topic: concrete, successful real-world projects, our close collaboration with the communities where our projects are located, the work of our project department—and, last but not least, the importance of clear, honest communication. Because one thing becomes clear time and again: Technically sound projects require, above all, trust, dialogue, and partnership on an equal footing.

The perspective of Ernstbrunn’s former mayor, Horst Gangl, was also particularly valuable: “Windkraft Simonsfeld has been a reliable partner to our community for 30 years. They support us in numerous projects and events and share a special energy partnership with us—for the benefit of the region and its people.”

His perspective as a community member made it clear what wind energy can achieve locally—economically, environmentally, and socially. And what it means to consistently pursue the path toward an energy-efficient community.
