Poltár (SK): Investments in our solar park secure operations until 2031

We are investing €60,000 in the maintenance of our photovoltaic plant in Poltár, Slovakia, by the end of 2026.

Windkraft Simonsfeld has been operating this 1.2 MWp solar power plant in Slovakia since 2011. The ongoing measures will ensure its technical reliability for the years to come.

Our electrician Rastislav Fodor, who is responsible for maintaining our solar park in Poltár.

An amendment to the law makes it possible to recover the costs of repairs and technical improvements through the feed-in tariff guaranteed by law until 2031. This requires investment in the plant’s technical infrastructure. Most of the budget has been allocated to repairs and preventive maintenance measures, including the replacement of DC cables and power units. Selected components of the solar inverters have also been replaced. The work was largely completed in September, and our solar park in Poltár is already successfully generating solar power again.
