Two awards for the expansion of our headquarter

Our flagship project for sustainable construction receives the highest Climate Active rating and is a finalist in the FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Austria 2025. With the expansion of our headquarters in Ernstbrunn (Lower Austria), we have created new state-of-the-art office space for our approximately 140 employees. The project was realised in accordance with the highest ecological and architectural standards. Windkraft Simonsfeld has now been honoured twice for this.

Klimaaktiv top rating and project of the month
Klimaaktiv Austria awarded the building the Klimaaktiv GOLD Standard with the highest possible rating - 1,000 out of 1,000 points - and the extension was also honoured as Project of the Month.

Finalist in the FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Austria 2025
Every two years, the renowned FIABCI Prix d'Excellence honours outstanding national and international architectural projects with particularly innovative and sustainable overall concepts. The expansion of Windkraft Simonsfeld's company headquarters was honoured as one of the three showcase projects in the commercial category. ‘With the Prix d'Excellence, we focus on sustainable projects and their social benefits based on specific role models. The expansion of Windkraft Simonsfeld's company headquarters impresses with the highest quality in terms of resource conservation and sustainability,’ said the jury.

Building epitomises the company's sustainable philosophy
‘Our headquarters is a statement for the philosophy of our company, which stands for holistic sustainability. We are thus investing in the climate and energy transition, in attractive green jobs and the dynamic expansion of a secure, future-proof energy supply. These awards also recognise this social commitment,’ says Markus Winter, Chief Technology Officer at Windkraft Simonsfeld.

The expansion of the headquarters in Ernstbrunn also emphasises the ties between the company, which operates throughout Europe, and the region, and the project was planned by the architectural firm Juri Troy ZT GmbH under the project management of M.O.O.CON. ‘We were convinced from the outset that we could create something extraordinary together with Windkraft Simonsfeld. This has been achieved in a special way and is confirmed by these two awards,’ says architect Juri Troy.
