another power purchase agreement for Austrian wind power
Windkraft Simonsfeld and Jungbunzlauer Austria AG are expanding their successful cooperation. As recently as March 2026, the two companies extended their partnership, which has been in place since 2024, by a further three years. Now, an additional electricity supply agreement has been concluded in the form of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
Clean, locally generated wind power from our Dürnkrut I wind farm for Jungbunzlauer
Under the agreement, Jungbunzlauer will additionally receive regionally generated green electricity from our Dürnkrut I wind farm in Lower Austria, which has an annual planned production of 24 million kWh. The PPA will start in 2027 and has a term of three years. The locally generated wind power will support the secure and sustainable energy supply of the production site in Pernhofen, Lower Austria.

These long-term electricity supply contracts offer both electricity consumers and producers stable prices as well as planning and supply security.
