Windkraft Simonsfeld and Ladendorf fire brigade: living regional responsibility

Supporting associations and organisations in project communities in the Weinviertel region, the ‘home’ of Windkraft Simonsfeld, is of particular importance to the company. Our firefighters are highly committed to protecting the population on a daily basis. To ensure their safety in the field, Windkraft Simonsfeld has equipped the Ladendorf fire brigade with new firefighting helmets. Modern protective equipment is essential to provide firefighters with the safety they need for their work.

The fire brigades make an indispensable contribution to the protection and safety of the population. Their commitment was particularly impressive during the floods in September 2024, which required enormous operational readiness. The Ladendorf fire brigade was deployed continuously for a total of 2,641 hours, supported by numerous fire brigades from the district.
