Windkraft Simonsfeld takes on sponsorship of young wolf AIYANA

Windkraft Simonsfeld has been supporting the Wolf Science Centre in Ernstbrunn Wildlife Park for two years now – and has now taken on a new animal sponsorship: the young wolf Aiyana is the company's new sponsored wolf.
Aiyana was born at the Wolf Science Centre in spring 2024 and was visited by Windkraft Simonsfeld when she was still a puppy. Now, around a year later, she has grown into a curious, playful and energetic young wolf.
‘Following our sponsorship of the wolf Amarok, we are delighted to now be able to accompany Aiyana on her journey – and thus make a small contribution to research and knowledge transfer relating to wolves,’ says Markus Winter, CEO of Windkraft Simonsfeld, about the new animal connection. ‘We are particularly pleased that this great project is based in our home community. Providing the best possible support to our project communities is a key concern for us – and the sponsorship of Aiyana fits perfectly with this commitment.’
Through its sponsorship, the company not only supports the species-appropriate keeping and care of the animals, but also the scientific work of the Wolf Science Centre, which focuses on the behaviour and cognition of wolves and dogs.
‘Aiyana is bursting with energy, lively and self-confident – which perfectly reflects our corporate values,’ says Birgitt Kleinschek, Head of Communications. Aiyana lives together with the two young wolves Kaya and Meeko at Ernstbrunn Wildlife Park. With a little luck, visitors to the park will have the opportunity to observe the young trio.
