Half-Year Report 2026 Published

With total electricity production of 339.9 million kWh, the Windkraft Simonsfeld Group generated consolidated revenue of €30.7 million and consolidated net profit (after taxes) of €4.9 million in the first half of 2026.

The Windkraft Simonsfeld Group's electricity production in the first half of 2026 was significantly below plan. The main reason for this was overall below-average wind conditions. In total, our 98 wind and solar power plants generated 339.9 million kWh of clean, domestically produced electricity in the first six months of the reporting year. This corresponds to the annual electricity needs of 85,000 households. Total production was therefore 0.9% higher than in the corresponding period of the previous year, but 13.2% below our planned target.

Nevertheless, Windkraft Simonsfeld was able to increase consolidated revenue by €1.6 million to €30.7 million and consolidated net profit (after taxes) to €4.9 million (+€0.41 million) in the first half of the year. “The improvement in earnings compared to the previous year is primarily attributable to higher electricity market prices,” explains Chief Financial Officer Alexander Hochauer.

€8.6 Million Invested in Future Renewable Energy Projects
Windkraft Simonsfeld invested a total of €8.6 million in future renewable energy projects in the first half of the year: “Despite challenging conditions, we are consistently continuing the expansion of our future projects. In the first half of the year, we commissioned a photovoltaic power plant, one wind farm is under construction, and two wind farms and two solar parks received legally binding approvals. Numerous other wind farms have already received approval at first or second instance or are currently undergoing approval procedures,” says Chief Technical Officer Markus Winter.

The performance of our shares in the first half of 2026 was also encouraging: The average share price was €455.0 per share, 6.5% above the average price for the full year 2025.
